Noah Beschen honed his barrel skills by being raised right at Rocky Point on the North Shore of Oahu.

He's the son of former pro surfer Shane Beschen, who's known for scoring three perfect 10s at Kirra in 1996, and the nephew of free surfer Gavin Beschen.

The younger Beschen's been busy. He nabbed an invite to the 2023 Vans Pipe Masters, where he finished 10th and tried his hand at film directing with his surf film, NOAH: The Art of Surfing, released last November with cinematography by Andy Woodward. Today, Beschen released the director's cut on his YouTube channel and it's worth watching.

The film's around 23 minutes long, featuring artsy cinematography, trippy music, and nature shots in between barrels and Beschen's surfing.

Red Bull described the film as:

"Professional surfer Noah Beschen travels to Western Australia and Tahiti alongside filmmaker Andy Woodward to surf beautiful yet powerful waves before returning home to the North Shore of Oahu. Short Film following "NOAH" through "The Art of Surfing"
