The Kazakhstani has capitalized on Swiatek's constant unforced errors, coupled with an exceptionally aggressive game.

After a 5-0 start, the former Wimbledon champion squandered two set points before Swiatek won her first game. Nevertheless, Rybakina closed the set on serve (on her third set point) with a 6-1 score.
