Alcaraz not even in Top 5: The players with the most Masters 1000 wins this year
IPA

Four Masters 1000 tournaments have already been played this season, with four different champions, led by Carlos Alcaraz at the Monte-Carlo Masters, his 6th title in the category. However, the Spaniard is not among those with the most wins so far this season, reaching only 6th place.

The absence of world No. 1 Jannik Sinner in all four tournaments, coupled with the inconsistency of Alexander Zverev and Novak Djokovic, has provided opportunities this year to see new names shine in the Masters 1000. Three of the four tournaments in 2025 had a champion who won their first title in the category.

At Indian Wells, it was Jack Draper who surprised, defeating defending champion Alcaraz in the semifinals and then Holger Rune in an impressive final. The surprise was even greater at the Miami Open when 19-year-old Jakub Mensik secured the title, defeating Djokovic in the final.

In Monte-Carlo, Alcaraz lived up to his status as the tournament favorite, although with an unexpected opponent in the final, Italian Lorenzo Musetti. Meanwhile, last weekend it was Casper Ruud who achieved the most important title of his career, defeating Draper in the final.

In all four finals, there has been at least one player who had never reached the decisive match before, and in three of them, they ended up with their first Masters 1000 title.

Thus, it is precisely Draper, with one title and one final, who has the most wins with a record of 12-3 (80%), tied with Lorenzo Musetti who has 12-4 (75%). In third place, there is an absolute tie between Argentine Francisco Cerundolo and Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov, both with 11 wins and 4 losses (73.3%).

It is only in 5th place that teenager Jakub Mensik appears, who has achieved 10 victories and only two losses in Masters 1000 this year, after not competing in Monte-Carlo due to not qualifying based on his ranking. Check below the male players who have achieved the most wins in Masters 1000 this season.
