Despite having a relatively short professional career on the ATP Tour, tennis star Ben Shelton has been scooped up by William Morris Endeavor, a powerhouse talent agency that has been yearning to add the American to it's high-profile client list.
Turning pro in 2022, Shelton initially signed with Team8, the management firm co-founded by Swiss legend Roger Federer and his agent Tony Godsick. The Atlanta native has since made his name on tour, reaching a pair of Grand Slam semifinals and climbing to a career-high ranking of World No.12.
The 22-year old is not the only tennis superstar represented by William Morris Endeavor. The talent agency has already signed the likes of compatriots Frances Tiafoe and Taylor Fritz, WTA legend Serena Williams, 2025 Roland Garros champion Carlos Alcaraz, former World No.1 Iga Swiatek.
WME took to Instagram to post a small clip introducing Shelton as the latest member of their family, with Tiafoe extending a warm welcome in the comments.
“Welcome brothaaaa,” wrote the World No.13.
Seeded third at the ongoing Stuttgart Open, Shelton defeated Frenchman Pierre-Hugues Herbert in two tiebreaks to kick off his grass court campaign. The American will face Jiri Lehecka in Friday's quarterfinal, after the rising Czech star battled past home favorite Jan Lennard Struff in their opening round match.
