Aryna Sabalenka is currently in Cincinnati, Ohio, where she’s set to defend her Western & Southern Open title at the WTA 1000 event running August 7–18.
After Cincinnati, she’ll head east to New York City to begin her US Open title defense on August 19.
Before arriving in Flushing Meadows, Sabalenka announced a new partnership with premium hydration brand Electrolit. The multiyear deal positions Electrolit as her official beverage sponsor.
“So excited to be partnering with @electrolit The fuel that keeps me hydrated and pushes me to do my best every day – on and off the court…” Sabalenka wrote on Instagram, posting a photo of herself enjoying the drink.
“Let’s go!!! We are so excited to have you join the Electrolit family” Electrolit replied in the comments.
This collaboration will feature Sabalenka in Electrolit’s national campaigns, integrating the brand into her tournament appearances and social media.
Georgios Frangulis, founder and CEO of OakBerry, joined a consortium led by Brazilian group OutField to acquire French Ligue 2 side Le Mans FC on August 1, alongside investors such as Novak Djokovic, Felipe Massa, and Kevin Magnussen.
In his Instagram announcement, he posted a reel saying, “So… we just bought a football club”. He showed a few clips of the stadium tour and press conference, adding “What a week… Full vlog soon. Allez LeMans!”.
Frangulis will serve as the club’s Chief Branding Officer, working under president Thierry Gomez to integrate high-level athlete expertise into Le Mans’ development.
Sabalenka, celebrated the move on her story with “Meu amor is on fire ❤️”. She further posted it on her story, saying, "He is killing it."
