The first ATP Masters 1000 event of 2024 rolls on here in scenic Indian Wells, California. We now enter the Round of 32 matches and as ever, we preview and predict all the scheduled matches for you.

ATP Indian Wells Day 6 Predictions

Gael Monfils vs Cameron Norrie

Head to head – Monfils 3-0 Norrie

Cameron Norrie wouldn’t be too pleased at the prospect of facing Gael Monfil,s who he has lost to on all three occasions they played. The Brit looked solid in his opening round match but Monfils did surprise a lot of people when he got the better of Hubert Hurkacz in the previous round. While Norrie likes to get into long rallies, Monfils will like to keep the points short and he should be comfortable to attack the Norrie groundstrokes.
Prediction: Monfils in 2

Grigor Dimitrov vs Adrian Mannarino

Head to head – Dimitrov 4-0 Mannarino

It is a pretty skewed head-to-head between Adrian Mannarino and Grigor Dimitrov, and Mannarino will be wary of this statistic. Dimitrov has enjoyed a fine run of form post Australian Open 2024 and he will look to make the most of it this week. The Frenchman, who did look pretty neat in his previous match, will struggle against the athleticism and stroke play of Dimitrov who currently shows no weakness.
Prediction: Dimitrov in 2

Sebastian Baez vs Taylor Fritz

Head to head – Baez 0-3 Fritz

Both players have won titles post Australian Open earlier this year and this promises to be a mouth-watering clash. Sebastian Baez enters this tournament winning back-to-back titles but clay is significantly different than the hard courts and it will be interesting to see how he tackles the power of Taylor Fritz. The American is a candidate to reach at least the semi finals and he will be relying on the power differential in the ground strokes to get the win.
Prediction: Fritz in 3

Novak Djokovic vs Luca Nardi

Head to head – First Meeting

Novak Djokovic did look rusty in his first match in almost two months but the win is what counts as he looks to march on. He takes on Luca Nardi who will no doubt feel the pressure in this high octane match. The Italian has done well to come through qualifying but the Serb will be looking for a quick win and expect him to do so.
Prediction: Djokovic in 2
