ATP Masters 1000 Paris 1/8-Finals

Fritz – Bublik: 30.10.2025 16:00 CEST
H2H: 3-3

Taylor Fritz has won three of his last five matches. Last week in Basel, Fritz lost to Humbert in the 1/8-Finals in straight sets. This week in Paris, the American outlasted Vukic in the opening round in straight sets. He served well, hitting twelve aces with five unforced errors. Fritz was also great under pressure, saving all three breakpoints he offered. He has never made it past the quarterfinals here. Last season, Fritz lost to Draper in the second round in three tight sets.

Alexander Bublik has won four of his last five matches. Last week in Vienna, Bublik lost to Sinner in the quarterfinals in straight sets. This week in Paris, Bublik won the opening match against Popyrin in straight sets. Besides losing his serve once, the Kazakh served well throughout the match. In the second round, Bublik won against Moutet in straight sets. He served well once again, offering and saving only one breakpoint. This is his seventh appearance in Paris. Last season in Paris, Bublik lost to Rune in the second round in straight sets. He has never made it past the third round here.

Best Bet to Make

According to the bookies, Bublik is the slight underdog in this matchup, but we disagree. Bublik dominated in both matches this week in Paris. He is having his breakthrough season and enjoys playing on indoor hard courts. Bublik leads 3-0 in head-to-head meetings against Fritz on hard courts. We expect him to win.

That being said, Bublik winning is a value bet.

Khachanov – de Minaur: 30.10.2025 16:00 CEST
H2H: 2-1

Karen Khachanov has lost three of his last five matches. Last week in Vienna, Khachanov lost to Griekspoor in the opening round in three tight sets. This week in Paris, Khachanov demolished Quinn in the opening round in straight sets. He offered no breakpoints. In the second round, the Russian defeated Fonseca in three sets. In the third deciding set, Khachanov offered no breakpoints and played well under pressure.

Alex de Minaur has won four of his last five matches. Last week in Vienna, de Minaur lost to Sinner in the semifinals in straight sets. This is his eighth appearance in Paris. This week, the Australian defeated Diallo in the opening match in three tight sets. In the opening set tiebreak, de Minaur trailed 0-5 and saved three set points. He was a better player under pressure in the deciding set. Last season, de Minaur lost to Rune in the quarterfinals in three tight sets.

Best Bet to Make

According to the bookies, Khachanov is the slight underdog in this matchup, but we disagree. De Minaur struggled in the opening match against Diallo, failing to find his rhythm. On the other hand, Khachanov enjoys playing on indoor hard courts and had a solid match against Fonseca. Last season in Vienna under similar conditions, Khachanov demolished de Minaur in straight sets. We expect him to be a better player today.

That being said, Khachanov winning is a value bet.

Value bet/ the best odds: Karen Khachanov winning @2.38 @bet365
