ATP Masters 1000 Paris quarterfinals

Shelton – Sinner: 31.10.2025 19:00 CEST
H2H: 1-6

Ben Shelton has lost three of his last five matches. Last week in Basel, the American lost to Munar in the 1/8-Finals in straight sets. This week in Paris, Shelton defeated Cobolli in his opening match in straight sets. He served well throughout the match, saving and offering only one breakpoint. In the 1/8-Finals, Shelton defeated Rublev in straight sets. He served well throughout the match, not offering any breakpoints.

Jannik Sinner has won ten straight matches. Last week in Vienna, Sinner won the title. He defeated Zverev in the final in three tight sets after playing for almost three hours. This is his fourth appearance in Paris. In the opening round, the Italian won against Bergs in straight sets. He served well, not offering any breakpoints. Today, in the 1/8-Finals, Sinner struggled in the opening set against Cerundolo. However, in the second round, the Italian demolished Cerundolo 6-1.

Best Bet to Make

According to the bookies, Shelton is the heavy underdog in this matchup, but we partially agree. We believe Sinner is a better player. However, Shelton served incredibly well this week in Paris. In their last meeting at Wimbledon, Sinner won in tight straight sets. If Shelton serves well, we expect him to keep this match tight.

That being said, Shelton covering the games handicap is a value bet.

Value bet/ the best odds: Ben Shelton +4.5 games handicap @1.73 @bet365

Medvedev – Zverev: 31.10.2025 20:30 CEST
H2H: 14-7

Daniil Medvedev has won four of his last five matches. Last week in Vienna, Medvedev lost to Moutet in the second round in straight sets. This week in Paris, the Russian won against Munar in the opening round in straight sets. He offered no breakpoints and dominated from the start until the end. Dimitrov withdrew from the second round match against Medvedev. Today in the 1/8-Finals, Medvedev defeated Sonego in three tight sets after playing for almost three hours. After losing the opening set 3-6, Medvedev kept his composure and turned the match around.

Alexander Zverev has won four of his last five matches. Last week in Vienna, Zverev had a great run. Sinner eventually stopped him in the final. He is the defending champion this week in Paris. In the opening round, Zverev outlasted Ugo Carabelli in three tight sets. After losing the opening set 6-7, he turned the match around after almost three hours. Today in the 1/8-Finals, Zverev defeated Davidovich Fokina easily in straight sets. Besides losing his serve once, he served well throughout the match. Last season in Paris, the German defeated Humbert in the final in straight sets.

Best Bet to Make

According to the bookies, this will be a 50-50 matchup, but we disagree. Medvedev has won the past four head-to-head meetings against Zverev on hard courts. Around a month ago, Medvedev defeated Zverev in Beijing in straight sets. We expect him to be a better player tomorrow.

That being said, Medvedev winning is a value bet.
