De Minaur has something tangible to chase this week, and the Australian will be fully engaged to deliver.

He does have a kind draw to begin his title defense. Camilo Ugo Carabelli plays his best tennis on clay, where he has won over 200 competitive matches. On indoor hard courts, he has a 2-3 lifetime record, although he notched an impressive straight-sets win against countryman Tomas Martin Etcheverry in the first round. It is a match that should give Zverev enough lift to try and adapt to the new venue and surface.
