Jannik Sinner schooled Learner Tien and clinched his third title of the season with a 6-2, 6-2 victory in Wednesday's final of the China Open in Beijing.

The top-seeded Italian needed only 72 minutes to finish off the 19-year-old American, who was competing in his first tour-level final. Sinner also won the Beijing crown in 2023 and joined Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal as the only multiple-time winners of the ATP 500 event.

Sinner finished with 10 aces, saved both of his break points and took advantage of six double faults by Tien. The reigning Australian Open and Wimbledon champion compiled a 22-9 edge in winners and committed only nine unforced errors.
