H2H: 3-3

Felix Auger-Aliassime has won four of his last five matches. In the past two editions, the Canadian exited both times in the opening round. This week, Auger-Aliassime won against Harris in the opening round in straight sets. He trailed 3-5 and saved three set points in the second set. In the second round, Felix defeated Safiullin in straight sets easily. He saved six out of seven breakpoints. His most formidable challenge happened in the third round against Zverev. After losing the opening set 4-6, the Canadian turned the match around, winning in four tight sets. In the 1/8-Finals, Auger-Aliassime trailed 2-4 in the opening set, but turned it around and won in straight sets against Rublev.

Alex de Minaur has won four of his last five matches. This week at the US Open, de Minaur defeated O’Connell in the opening round in straight sets. He served great, not offering any breakpoints. In the second round, de Minaur defeated Mochizuki in straight sets comfortably. Daniel Altmaier retired mid-match against de Minaur in the fourth set. De Minaur demolished Riedi in the 1/8-Finals. In less than two hours, the Australian won in straight sets comfortably.

Best Bet to Make

According to the bookies, de Minaur is the slight favourite in this matchup, and we agree. He is a better player at the Grand Slam level than Auger-Aliassime. Both players played well this past week. However, we believe that de Minaur will handle the pressure better than Auger-Aliassime and win.

That being said, de Minaur winning is a value bet.

Best Bet to Make

According to the bookies, Sinner is the heavy favourite in this matchup, and we partially agree. However, Musetti is in great form and played his best tennis. He enjoys playing at the Grand Slam level, where he consistently performs well. We expect Musetti to put up a show and keep this match tight.

That being said, Musetti covering the games handicap is a value bet.
