De Minaur – Nakashima: 25.07.2025 Time TBA
H2H: 0-1
Alex de Minaur has won four of his last five matches. His last match before the ATP Washington event was at Wimbledon, where he lost to Djokovic in the quarterfinals. His last appearance in Washington was in 2022, when he lost to Nishioka in the second round. This week, de Minaur defeated Bu in straight sets easily. Besides losing his serve once in the opening set, the Australian served great. In the second round, de Minaur defeated Lehecka in three tight sets after playing for almost three hours. In the deciding set, he dominated and won deservedly.
Brandon Nakashima has won four of his last five matches. This week in Washington, Nakashima defeated Quinn in straight sets in the opening round. He was great under pressure, saving all three breakpoints. In the second round, the American won against Norrie in straight sets. Once again, Nakashima saved both breakpoints. He hopes for a solid result this week to get closer to the top 20 in the rankings.
According to the bookies, de Minaur is the favourite in this matchup, and we agree. He will soon become a top 10 player and perform better under pressure than Nakashima. De Minaur is in solid form, and we expect him to dominate tomorrow.
That being said, de Minaur winning is a value bet.

Medvedev – Moutet: 25.07.2025 Time TBA
H2H: 1-1
Daniil Medvedev has won three of his last five matches. His last match before the ATP event in Washington was at Wimbledon, where he lost to Bonzi in the opening round in four sets. This week in Washington, Medvedev defeated Opelka in three sets in the opening round. After losing the opening set 3-6, the Russian turned the match around. In the second round, Medvedev had an easy job against Wu. After playing for a short while, over an hour, he demolished Wu in straight sets. He offered no breakpoints.
Corentin Moutet has won three of his last five matches. This week in Washington, Moutet failed to qualify for the main draw tournament. In the final qualifying round, Moutet lost against Wu in three tight sets. However, with several players withdrawing from the tournament, he entered the main draw as a lucky loser. The Frenchman demolished Muller in the opening round 6-0, 6-1 within an hour. In the second round, Moutet won against Evans in straight sets. After losing his serve twice in the second set, he kept his composure and still won. He hopes for a solid result this week to secure a spot in the top 50 rankings.
According to the bookies, Medvedev is the favourite in this matchup, and we agree. His skills surpass those of Moutet. The Frenchman has no weapons for the Russian’s game. Medvedev has always delivered in the second part of the season, and we expect him to do so again tomorrow.
That being said, Medvedev winning in straight sets is a value bet.
Value bet/ the best odds: Daniil Medvedev winning 2-0 @1.73 @bet365
