Cobolli – Djokovic: 09.07.2025 Time TBA
H2H: 0-1
Flavio Cobolli has won four of his last five matches. This week at Wimbledon, Cobolli has only dropped one set en route to the quarterfinals. In the opening round, the Italian defeated Zhukayev in straight sets. He offered and saved two breakpoints. Pinnington Jones had no chance against Cobolli in the second round. The Italian won once again in straight sets. After playing less than two hours, he defeated Mensik in the third round in straight sets. His toughest challenge came in the 1/8-Finals against Cilic. Cobolli won in four tight sets after playing for almost four hours.
Novak Djokovic has won four of his last five matches. This week, the Serb defeated Muller in four sets. Besides losing the second set 6-7, he dominated from the start until the end. In the second and third rounds, he demolished Evans and Kecmanovic in straight sets. His toughest challenge occurred in the 1/8 finals. After losing the opening set 1-6, he stepped up his level and turned the match around against de Minaur. Last season at Wimbledon, Djokovic lost against Alcaraz in the final in straight sets.
According to the bookies, Cobolli is the underdog in this matchup, but we disagree. Cobolli served great this week at Wimbledon. He has dropped only one set en route to the quarterfinals and has played well under pressure. We expect him to fight hard and keep this match close.
That being said, Cobolli covering the games handicap is a value bet.

Sinner – Shelton: 09.07.2025 Time TBA
H2H: 5-1
Jannik Sinner has won four of his last five matches. This is his sixth appearance at Wimbledon. In the opening rounds, Sinner defeated Nardi and Vukic in straight sets. In the third round, Jannik demolished Pedro Martinez in straight sets. He was great under pressure, saving four out of four breakpoints. Yesterday in the 1/8-Finals, Dimitrov retired mid-match against Sinner when he was 2-0 up. Last season, the Italian lost against Medvedev in the quarterfinals. He has never made it past the semifinals here.
Ben Shelton has won four of his last five matches. This week, Shelton defeated Bolt in the opening round in tight straight sets. He trailed 3-4 in the opening set and was break down, but turned it around. In the second round, the American defeated Hijikata in straight sets. He was great under pressure, saving all breakpoints he offered. In the third round, Shelton defeated Fucsovics in straight sets. Besides losing his serve late in the third set, the American served well throughout the match. In the 1/8-Finals, Shelton defeated Sonego after losing the opening set 3-6. Last season at Wimbledon, the American lost against Sinner in the 1/8-Finals in straight sets.
According to the bookies, Sinner is the big favourite in this matchup, but we disagree. Dimitrov exploited his game on grass in the 1/8-Finals. On the other hand, Shelton enjoys playing on grass and with his heavy serve, we expect him to keep this match close.
That being said, Shelton covering the games handicap is a value bet.
Value bet/ the best odds: Ben Shelton +4.5 games handicap @2.00 @bet365
