Carlos Alcaraz hit a ridiculous winner during his fourth-round match against Andrey Rublev at Wimbledon on Sunday.

Alcaraz defeated Rublev 6-7 (5), 6-3, 6-4, 6-4 on Centre Court at the All England Club. The Spaniard had a break point opportunity at 3-3 in the third set. He showed incredible speed to chase down one ball and return it. Then Rublev hit a backhand down the line that looked like it would go for a winner, but Alcaraz chased it down and ripped a cross-court winner.

That was beautiful.

Alcaraz has incredible speed and utilizes it quite well. It’s one of the best features about his game and part of what makes him so dangerous as a player.

Alcaraz has won Wimbledon two years in a row. He’s looking to make it three times in a row, which would give him six majors overall. He is set to face Cameron Norrie in the quarterfinals. Taylor Fritz, Jannik Sinner and Novak Djokovic are among the tougher players who remain in the draw.
