In a new Daily Dose of Social Media, Rafael Nadal inaugurated an exhibition at his Academy's Museum in tribute to his incredible career at Roland Garros, showcasing a life-size sculpture, his 14 French Open trophies, and his apparel throughout the years.
On the other hand, Ons Jabeur and Aryna Sabalenka shared laughs at the Philippe Chatrier while preparing for Roland Garros, while Carlos Alcaraz, Jasmine Paolini, and Sara Errani starred in the celebrations for their respective titles at the Rome Open last Sunday.
WTA stars Aryna Sabalenka and Ons Jabeur are intensely preparing for Roland Garros next week, but there's still time for smiles and camaraderie between two friends on the Tour. Today, the world No. 1 met up with her Tunisian colleague to train at the Philippe Chatrier, and they had a friendly encounter sealed with a hug and smiles from both.
Jabeur showed why she earned the nickname 'Minister of Happiness' in a social media video, where she is seen greeting everyone she comes across in the Roland Garros facilities. On the other hand, Sabalenka took the opportunity to share some photos of her latest outfit upon arriving in Paris, with some pictures shared on her social media. "Rare occasion I’m not in athletic clothes," she captioned on Instagram.

Rafael Nadal has inaugurated a new space dedicated to Roland Garros in his museum in Manacor, his hometown. The exhibit contains the fourteen Musketeers' Trophies he won at the Paris Grand Slam, alongside all the rackets, bandanas, and shoes he used during the years he played in that tournament. It also showcases moments when he lifted the trophies won at Roland Garros, as well as a comprehensive infographic compiling many of his statistics on the Parisian clay courts.
The venue features images of the 14-time French Open champion, along with a 150-kilogram statue dedicated to Nadal—a replica of the sculpture that Roland Garros dedicated to the Spaniard and gifted by the French Tennis Federation, a life-size sculpture of the legendary Nadal. The former world No. 1 will receive a tribute in Paris next May 25th.
“As you all know, @rolandgarros is the most special tournament of my career. Thanks to everyone who created this special place at the @rafanadalmuseum with such great memories ☺️. I hope you like it as much as I do.”

Jannik Sinner took to social media to once again congratulate his rival Carlos Alcaraz for defeating him in the Rome Open final. The Italian reignited his rivalry with the Spaniard in their first encounter following Sinner's 3-month suspension amidst the doping controversy. Leaving everything behind, the three-time Grand Slam champion had a great showing in his home country, reaching the final, although he fell again to Alcaraz, marking his fourth consecutive defeat against the Spaniard.
Similarly, the world No. 1 had a classy gesture by congratulating Alcaraz during the awards ceremony, but it wasn't just courtesy, as today he insisted on social media with his congratulations, in addition to thanking his team and the local fans, who supported him massively despite the doping ban controversy.
“Not the result we hoped for, but I’m grateful for yesterday’s match, it was a great tournament for me overall,” the Italian wrote. “Thank you to everyone who cheered me on, both in the stands and at home, your support means the world. Big congrats to @carlitosalcarazz and his team for a great performance. GRAZIE Roma, ci vediamo presto”

It was all celebrations for Alcaraz after winning the title in Rome. The world No. 2 had the support of his parents at the Foro Italico, who were on the court to take some photos with their son, the four-time Grand Slam champion. Carlitos also posed with the champion's trophy at the traditional Castel Sant'Angelo.
Alcaraz will arrive at Roland Garros full of confidence, where he is the defending champion from his 2024 triumph, his third major title. The Spaniard has had a near-impeccable clay swing, with a 15-1 record, only falling in the final of the Barcelona Open and claiming titles at the Monte-Carlo Masters and the Rome Open. Without a doubt, he will arrive in Paris with maximum confidence.
familia ❤️

Jasmine Paolini was the local hero at the Rome Open after winning the singles title, but the achievement was even greater when she was crowned doubles champion this Saturday alongside her regular partner Sara Errani, taking their second consecutive Italian Open title as a pair. The Italians had a special celebration with their teams and starred in the usual champions' jump into the pool.
