The draw has been completed for the 2025 French Open at Roland Garros with Jannik Sinner as top seed and Carlos Alcaraz as defending champion in Paris.

Sinner returned last week in Rome and reached the final and thankfully for tennis fans, he will be kept apart from Alcaraz again in Paris. So we could get a repeat of the match to watch.

He opens against Arthur Rinderknech, then could face Terence Atmane or Richard Gasquet on his farewell to the sport. Then likely it will be Jiri Lehecka or Jordan Thompson. Jack Draper sits in his quarter and faces a new life as a top five star and he faces Mattia Bellucci to start then potentially French showman Gael Monfils.

Novak Djokovic, a three-time champion will face Mackenzie McDonald then it will be Corentin Moutet or a qualifier/lucky loser. He is still playing in Geneva so could come to Roland Garros with his 100th title.

Alexander Zverev certainly won't win a title this week. He lost early in Hamburg and now faces Learner Tien. Then it will be Jesper de Jong or Francesco Passaro. Lorenzo Musetti is eighth seed and likely opens against Roberto Carballes Baena.

Multiple time finalist Casper Ruud will take on a qualifier or lucky loser then the same again or Nuno Borges. While Carlos Alcaraz in his quarter faces a blockbuster tie with Kei Nishikori in the opening round. Then his previous Rome nemesis Fabian Marozsan or Luca Nardi.

Alex de Minaur faces Laslo Djere to start, while Daniil Medvedev faces an opener against Cameron Norrie in Djokovic's section. Holger Rune as tenth seed faces Roberto Bautista Agut. Arthur FIls as a home hero opens up against Nicolas Jarry also in a likely top tie on Court Philippe Chatrier as their leading light.
