The draw has been completed for the 2025 Queen's Club Championships with the first edition in 30 years of the usual ATP Calendar staple which takes place between June 9 - June 15, 2025.
Led by tournament director, Laura Robson, there are a myriad of top names who will begin their grass court season in the first week which is usually only reserved for Nottingham and s'Hertogenbosch.
Nottingham has been shifted to the week after while Queen's this year opens with the men's tournament keeping its slot of the second week of the road to Wimbledon. Jessica Pegula and Naomi Osaka were early additions to the line-up, but both have since withdrawn with Zheng Qinwen instead being the top name.
She opens against either Francesca Jones or McCartney Kessler. It could be two Brit ties in a row with Emma Raducanu potentially in the Quarter-Finals. She takes on current Wimbledon champion Barbora Krejcikova or Rebecca Sramkova if she gets past a qualifier.
In that same section is Emma Navarro who after a shock loss in Paris returns to face either Petra Kvitova, a multiple time Wimbledon champion or Beatriz Haddad Maia who usually on this surface is an early adopter in Nottingham and is a forerunner in these events. So as tough as it comes.
Even if she gets through that it could be Daria Kasatkina who won Eastbourne last year or maybe Amanda Anisimova. They both face Brits in Sonay Kartal and Jodie Burrage.
Karolina Muchova mooted she may need another wrist surgery. She didn't play grass last year and will return potentially to face Leylah Fernandez. Elena Rybakina looms as the seed and could have an all Kazakh clash as she faces Yulia Putintseva likely in the second round.
Madison Keys perhaps has it toughest of all. Despite being close friends with Laura Robson, there were no favours with the draw. She faces likely Donna Vekic in the second round. Then any of Diana Shnaider who won a title on grass last year or Katie Boulter who are on a beeline for each other. The grass court season starting in style in London.
