Emma Raducanu shuts down Alcaraz dating rumors

Emma Raducanu addressed rumors about a supposed relationship with Carlos Alcaraz in a humorous moment during her press conference. The 2021 US Open champion and Carlos Alcaraz were recently announced as partners for the upcoming US Open mixed doubles.

Raducanu recently took advantage of her week off – out of competition recovering from an injury – and attended one of Carlos Alcaraz's matches, blending in with the crowd. Alcaraz later commented that he hadn't known about her presence but would love to see the Brit play live soon.

Rumors then began to spread on social media about a possible relationship beyond friendship between Alcaraz and Raducanu, something the former World No. 10 recently commented on in a press conference at Wimbledon. Raducanu is preparing to debut at Wimbledon this Monday against 17-year-old Mingge Xiu. The local player will compete in her first Grand Slam main draw after receiving a wildcard, and will have the opportunity to debut on Wimbledon's Court 1.
