16 of the world's top 50 have signed up to play the Geneva Open between 17-24 May in what is a leading precursor prior to the French Open with Casper Ruud and Taylor Fritz leading the way at Parc des Eaux-Vives.
As well as those names, Nicolas Jarry who has previously won the title as well as two runners-up in Tomas Machac and Denis Shapovalov are among the 21 names who are directly admitted into the draw. Fritz hasn't played in some time and will return during Madrid.
The American has had an abdominal injury most of the season and has been managing it through the Sunshine Double withdrawing from UTS in Nimes as well as Monte-Carlo. But had entered a few weeks ago into the Entry List which is now fully confirmed.
While Casper Ruud is defending champion famously beating Novak Djokovic en route to the title 12 months ago. Djokovic played last minute during 2024 and he has since been confirmed to be playing it again. He didn't play in Rome last week so is available to receive a wildcard which he accepted.
Grigor Dimitrov and Barcelona semi-finalist Karen Khachanov have also confirmed their spots. As well as Alexei Popyrin, Hubert Hurkacz, Lorenzo Sonego and Matteo Arnaldi. Three wildcards remain as well as qualifiers with rising Swiss ace Henry Bernet and Leo Borg handed Qualifying Wild Cards.
