Italy’s Jannik Sinner continues to dominate men’s tennis. The 23-year-old is regarded as the best player currently playing in men’s tennis in the singles category and has produced some flawless performances in the recent past.

Sinner is currently taking part in the French Open 2025, where he cemented his spot in the semifinal after beating Kazakhstan’s Alexander Bublik in straight sets with a score of 6-1, 7-5, 6-0. It was his fifth straight-set win at the Roland Garros this year. This was not the first time Sinner showcased his dominance over his rivals this year. In the past month, the Italian tennis star, who returned to the court after spending three months on the sidelines, remained so dominant that he made it extremely hard for players to win just a game against him.

After his win on Wednesday, a graphic appeared on TNT Sports which showed how hard it has been for players to win a single game against Sinner. It took the Czech Republic’s Jiri Lehecka 55 minutes to win a game against the three-time Grand Slam winner. Three-time Grand Slam finalist Casper Ruud took 47 minutes to win a game against Sinner, whereas Russia’s Andrey Rublev took 27 minutes to win his first game against the reigning world number one. In the quarterfinal of the French Open on Wednesday, Bublik also needed 27 minutes to win a game against Sinner.

Talking after the match, Bublik admitted how every other player on the tour is chasing Sinner, who is playing at another level. “He’s playing fast. He’s playing smart. He’s playing basically every match under 2 hours,” he said. “He’s physically at the top level. As you can see, it’s not only me who got bageled. I wish him all the luck. He deserves to be where he is. We’re all gonna wait for the final we all wanted. He’s an established top 2 players of the world right now. He deserves to be world number one. Multiple grand slam champion. That’s something that probably few people can touch in general. For me, as I said many times, he’s on another dimension with all the aspects of the game. Being able to face him another time, it’s a really nice for the experience. You try to get something from it. Some positives. On his side, his tennis already proved everything. He’s going to be here for years and years to come.”
