Nick Kyrgios has addressed the breakup of his relationship with model Costeen Hatzi for the first time. The Australian responded to a Q&A session, where one of the topics was the end of his relationship with the 25-year-old influencer.

A month ago, the Australian entrepreneur herself acknowledged the split with the tennis player in an interview with The Advertiser, where she expressed her good wishes for her now ex-partner. "We haven't spoken... I hope he finds peace and happiness within himself. I definitely went into the relationship with pure intentions."

Kyrgios has remained off the courts since March, when he played the Miami Open and fell in the second round to Karen Khachanov. Since his return, he has only one win and four losses, as injuries have plagued him again. He recently announced that his recovery process will take more time and he has withdrawn from Wimbledon.

In an Instagram Q&A session this Wednesday, June 1, the former world No. 13 responded to a fan about his breakup – speaking publicly on the matter for the first time. "Things happen. I wish her nothing but the best. So many incredible moments that will stay with me."

The couple had been together for over three years, during which Hatzi was close to Kyrgios in his resurgence year in 2022, when he reached the Wimbledon final, won an ATP 500 title, and then reached the US Open quarterfinals.
