The third partner was the charm for Britain's Jack Draper, 23, in the US Open Mixed Doubles Championship.

After his previous partners Qinwen Zheng and Paula Badosa withdrew from the tournament, he was partnered with Jessica Pegula, 31, whose partner Tommy Paul also opted out.

Draper and Pegula, who barely knew each other before, have now fallen into a sibling-like relationship.

Jessica Pegula is the older sister that Draper, whose only sibling is brother Ben, never knew he needed.

Their banter in a recent press conference showed how they have morphed from mere acquaintances to "siblings."

The pair won two matches gaining the moniker "Dragula."

Jessica Pegula Felt She Left Draper Down

In typical older sibling fashion, Pegula said after their quarterfinal loss to Iga Swiatek and Casper Ruud that she felt sad about letting Draper down.

Draper did not believe that was the case. During the mid-match interview, he said Pegula was carrying him, and he needed to elevate his game.

Pegula Offered Draper Fashion Advice

After many years with Nike, Jack Draper is the new brand ambassador for Vuori. The US Open Mixed Doubles Championship was the first time fans saw his Vuori kit.

On Tuesday, he wore a sleeveless shirt while Wednesday, he wore sleeves.

Pegula told him that he should stick with sleeveless, a point that Draper's fans could not agree with more.

US Open Singles Await Pegula And Draper
