Jessica Pegula, daughter of Bills owners, advances in Australian Open: 'Bills you're next'

American Jessica Pegula may not yet be a household name among those who don't follow the tennis world on a monthly basis, but that could change if she and her famous family notch some noteworthy wins this month.

Pegula, the world No. 21, advanced to the fourth round of the Australian Open via a 7-6 (7-3), 6-2 victory over Nuria Parrizas Diaz on Thursday. The 27-year-old is the daughter of Kim and Terry, owners of the NFL's Buffalo Bills and NHL's Buffalo Sabres, and she celebrated her latest win by offering a message of support for the Bills ahead of their upcoming playoff game at the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday:

Pegula has also been rocking "Bills Mafia" colors in Australia. She will face fifth-seeded Maria Sakkari in the tournament's next round.

As noted by Pegula's official WTA profile, she's attempting to reach the Australian Open quarterfinals for the second consecutive year.

As of Friday afternoon, FanDuel listed both Pegula and the Bills as betting underdogs to survive the weekend in their tournaments. If, however, both earn wins this weekend, we'd like Pegula to respond by going through a table as long as she can guarantee a soft landing to preserve her health for her next match.
