Fans of tennis star Nick Kyrgios will be delighted to hear that the Aussie ace will still be involved in some capacity at the 2025 Wimbledon Championships, after being relieved of his analyst duties by the BBC.

The former World No.13 provided analysis and commentary for BBC at last year's edition. However, Kyrgios' involvement led to outrage from some members of the tennis community, following the Australian's admission to assaulting his ex-girlfriend, in addition to a few misogynistic remarks.

Kyrgios bounces back with radio station

With the Canberra native drawing negative press, the BBC opted not to invite him back to the commentary booth for this year's grass court Grand Slam. This led to Kyrgios lashing out at the media, claiming his victories over Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic enabled him to provide invaluable insights not accessible from other analysts.

However, Kyrgios appears to have found a way to voice his opinion during the third Grand Slam of the season. The 30-year old has landed a new gig with British station Talksport, where he will act as a radio consultant during the two-week tournament at SW19. Alongside co-presenter Gordon Smart, Kyrgios will record daily content for the station, with each episode lasting around thirty minutes in length.

The former Wimbledon runner-up announced his withdrawal from SW19 at the start of June, stating he had suffered a small setback in his recovery. Kyrgios has been dealing with several injuries since the start of the season, which has again put his much anticipated comeback on hold.
