Novak Djokovic continues to be one of the best players in the world at age 38. As a No. 4 seed, he has made it to the Australian Open semifinals once again, where he will take on two-time defending champion Jannik Sinner on Friday.
Historically, the Australian Open has been his most productive battleground as he has won 10 of his 24 Grand Slam titles there. Djokovic’s 2012 run in Melbourne was one for the tennis lore. Now, tennis collectors are getting their dream come true as Djokovic’s racket from his third Aussie Open title is up for grabs.
During the 2012 Australian Open final, Novak Djokovic outlasted Rafael Nadal in a thrilling match 5-7, 6-4, 6-2, 6-7(5), 7-5. It still holds the record for the longest Grand Slam final, lasting 5 hours, 53 minutes.
Now one of the tennis rackets used by Djokovic during one of the greatest finals ever is up for auction. It is a HEAD Speed racket featuring a 27-inch frame, Novak label, and 18×20 string pattern.
As per TMZ Sports, the racket has reached the auction block with SCP Auctions. TMZ Sports revealed that the tennis racket is expected to fetch at least $216,000.

This is already the highest price for a tennis racket. Earlier, Carlos Alcaraz’s Babolat racket, which he used to defeat Djokovic during the 2023 Wimbledon final, fetched a record price of $173k.
As for Friday's semifinal, Djokovic will have a big task ahead of him against the world No. 2 on Friday at 03:30 a.m. ET on ESPN. Djokovic has lost his last five matches against Sinner, including straight-sets losses in semifinals at Roland Garros and Wimbledon in 2025.
