Qinwen Zheng Sizzles In Brand New AUDI E5 Sportback Without A Driver's License

WTA Chinese No.1 Qinwen Zheng recently starred in a sleek new advertisement for her latest partnership with automotive giant Audi, featuring the all-new AUDI E5 Sportback. However, there was one comic twist to the shoot—Zheng, who has not yet obtained her driver’s license, couldn’t actually drive the car. In a clever workaround, production teams simulated movement by physically shaking the car while she was seated inside, creating the illusion of driving for the camera.

The launch of the E5 Sportback represents a new chapter for Audi’s premium New Energy Vehicle brand in Asia. Debuting at the Volkswagen Group Media Night ahead of Auto Shanghai 2025, the vehicle marks the first production model under the newly stylized AUDI branding—written in all capitals and notably without the iconic four rings. This move signals a strategic shift, presenting AUDI as a distinct identity from its parent company.

At the Auto Shanghai arena, the entrance was adorned with large posters of Zheng promoting the E5 Sportback, underscoring her growing influence as a global brand ambassador. In the past two years, Zheng has amassed a substantial portfolio of endorsements, including partnerships with Nike, Dior, and Lancôme. She has also graced the cover of high-profile magazines such as Vogue, further cementing her status as a fashion and cultural icon. With over $15 million in endorsement earnings last year alone, Zheng is one of the highest-earning athletes in women’s tennis

Most recently, she was spotted practicing with Coco Gauff as both players prepare for the upcoming Madrid Open, where high-altitude conditions demand special acclimatization.

As she gears up to begin her campaign in Madrid, Zheng leaves us with no doubt that she is just as successful off the court as she is on it.
