Rafael Nadal gets gifted with a steel statue with long-term automobile partner Kia

Since 2004, Rafael Nadal has collaborated with automobile company Kia and this year marks their 20-year anniversary. 

To honor that, Kia gifted the Spanish pro with a steel statue handcrafted by a local sculpture artist Gustavo Balboa. The sculpture made from reusable steel was a representation of Nadal doing his iconic forehand. Glad for their partnership, the company hopes to have more success as partners for the upcoming years.

The 22-time Grand Slam champion has not given any update on his current situation and possible return but according to a few whispers that have been circulating, the Spaniard is set to return soon. Former British player Laura Robson had some good news for all the fans out there. She revealed to have spoken to some of the Spanish coaches who revealed that Nadal might resume his season of comeback soon after the Australian Tour at Doha.
