Tennis Legend Venus Williams Sparks Major Relationship Rumors

Seven-time Grand Slam winner Venus Williams has been in a few relationships through the years but has never tied the knot with anyone. That could be on the verge of changing.

According to the New York Post, Venus was recently seen sharing a "heartfelt moment" with actor Andrea Preti in Italy when a close-up on her left hand revealed a "dazzling ring" on her ring finger. Per the report, neither Venus nor Preti had any comment on the matter.

Photos from The Shade Room show that it's no small rock that Venus has been sporting. The two were seen getting very close to each other, with one picture showing Preti kissing her on the cheek.

This would hardly be the first time that Venus and Preti have publicly displayed affection for another. Some photos this past summer showed Preti placing his hands on Venus' shoulders.

More recently, Venus shared a post on her Instagram Story from Preti with the caption "My mother once said to me: ‘You will always be a priority for the people who really care about you.’ – Rithvik Singh."

Venus Williams has had a few relationships over the past 15 years. She dated golfer Hank Kuehne for a spell, Cuban model Elio Pis from 2012 to 2015 and publishing heir Nicholas Hammond for a couple of years after that.

Williams won at Wimbledon five times between 2000 and 2008 and won back-to-back U.S. Opens in 2000 and 2001. But she has not reached a semifinal or a final since 2017 and has not gone past the third round since 2019.

The 44-year-old tennis superstar has largely been out of the picture in terms of winning tournaments. She ranked No. 977 as of December.

But she's made it clear that she's not retiring yet and continues to compete.
