Coco Gauff was asked about the Brit playing in the Challengers. The American revealed that Andy Murray will give his 100% whether he’s on Wimbledon Centre Court or playing a Challenger.

On court he's just somebody that I don't get how you can't look up to him in a way with his situation battling with injuries. I think you'll see him playing challengers or on Centre Court Wimbledon, and he's still giving it 100% of his all, which is something rare to see, especially when you're later in your career, somebody giving it their all, no matter who's watching. I think a lot of players should learn from that. I think he's just someone who doesn't care about courts or where he's playing. He just wants to play. I think a lot of players can learn from that. Meanwhile, Murray has chosen to play more clay-court practice and tournaments before the French Open. The last time he played in Bordeaux, he was beaten by Stan Wawrinka, a deciding match that saw him skip the Roland Garros.

Coco Gauff earns comfortable win against Magdalena Frech in Rome

Coco Gauff began the Rome campaign with a comfortable win against Magdalena Frech in their second round of the tournament. The 20-year-old American triumphed 6-3 6-3 in 58 minutes to earn a place in the third round.

She will be facing Romanian qualifier Jaqueline Cristian in the next round as she hopes to get past the round of 16 reach in the Madrid Open. She has yet to get past the quarterfinals of any clay tournament this season.

She has revealed since arriving in Rome that working on her service is her major priority. She did that against Frech as she overcame nine double faults to clinch the winner.
