This sleeper pick at the Australian Open could be moving up in the odds

It comes as no surprise who the favorites are to win the men's competition at the Australian Open. Heck, Novak Djokovic is already crushing the competition. But could one of this year's sleeper picks be making his way up the ranks?

Multiple experts at Tennis.com listed Sebastian Korda as a sleeper pick back on Jan. 12, especially after how well he faired at Adelaide International earlier this month. Now, the 22-year-old American is heading to the third round and could be climbing up the odds after a convincing win this week.

Korda opened at +4000 at BetMGM and hasn't moved up the odds list yet since there are still plenty of matches to be played into Wednesday night. But he is worth keeping an eye on as he gets ready to face Daniil Medvedev -- a +400 favorite behind Djokovic -- in the third round.

The Florida native has been on fire, being the runner-up in three of his last four tournaments. He even had Djokovic on the ropes at Adelaide before sustaining the three-set loss. With how he has played so far this tournament, his third-round match against Medvedev should be very entertaining.
