On the court, five-time Grand Slam Champion Carlos Alcaraz is known for his creative shots, fighting spirit, and prowess as an all-surface player. However, outside of court, Alcaraz is well known as a party animal, someone who loves his vacations and nightlife. Fans too love seeing this chill and fun side of the tennis star.
The 22-year-old was recently seen letting loose at a nightclub in Spain nearly a week after losing the Wimbledon final. Alcaraz, who was aiming for an elusive three-peat at SW19, lost to World No. 1 Jannik Sinner in the final.
However, despite the loss, Alcaraz seemed happy and grateful as he congratulated the newly crowned four-time Grand Slam champion. Now, the Spaniard is enjoying a much-needed break before he gears up for the North American hard-court swing.

Alcaraz is also known for his yearly trip to Ibiza, embracing the Mediterranean island’s iconic beach and party atmosphere. He has been taking this trip for the past three years after the Roland Garros and has often spoken about how it helps him unwind ahead of the grass swing.
Alcaraz has had great success in the grass season since then, winning both the Queen’s Club Championships and Wimbledon title in 2023, defending the Wimbledon crown in 2024, and winning at Queen’s in 2025.
Jannik Sinner leads the ATP rankings with 12030 points, becoming the fifth person to cross 12,000 ATP points. Meanwhile, World No. 2 Carlos Alcaraz is now at 8600 points.
Alcaraz did not compete at the Canadian Open last year, which means that he will not have any points to defend in the upcoming tournament in Toronto. Furthermore, Alcaraz will have only 10 points to defend in Cincinnati, as he lost in the round of 32 to Gael Monfils in the tournament last year.
He will also only have to defend 50 points at the US Open, where he lost in the second round last year to Botic van de Zandschulp. In total, Alcaraz only has 60 points to defend in the North American hard court swing.
On the other hand, his rival, Sinner, has many points to defend in the North American swing. As the defending champion at the Cincinnati Masters and the US Open, Sinner will have to defend 1000 and 2000 points, respectively. Sinner defeated home favorite Frances Tiafoe in straight sets in the final in Cincinnati last year and overcame another home favorite, Taylor Fritz, in straight sets at the US Open final last year.
The Italian lost in the quarterfinals of the Canadian Open last year to eventual runner-up Andrey Rublev, However Sinner has now decided to withdraw from this tournament.
Carlos Alcaraz will next compete at the Canadian Open. First organized in 1881, it is the second-oldest active tennis tournament in the world, with Wimbledon being the oldest.
While Alcaraz is yet to win this tournament, Jannik Sinner won it once in 2023, where he clinched his maiden Masters 1000 title. This year the tournament is scheduled to take place from 27 July to 7 August at the Sobeys Stadium in Toronto, with Alexei Popyrin entering as the defending champion. With five titles, Rafael Nadal holds the record for the most number of title wins at the Canadian Open.
