Watch: Denis Shapovalov hilariously imitates Diego Dedura-Palomero celebration with young German on the next court

Denis Shapovalov was at the opposing end of some unwanted history during the recent Munich Open as he lost to Diego Dedura-Palomero who became the first player born in 2008 or later to win an ATP Tour match.

But Shapovalov at least sees the funny side to the over exuberant celebration from the German who made headlines for going a bit over the top wildly celebrating after his win.

Shapovalov was seen imitating the German during Madrid Open practice ironically as he was on the court next to Dedura-Palomero.

Shapovalov as a seed gets a bye and faces Aleksandar Vukic or Kei Nishikori. Dedura-Palomero will have to come through qualifying to play the Madrid Open.
