Watch: Dominic Thiem wins two points in one game with between-the-legs shots

Dominic Thiem was eliminated in the first round of the Geneva Open on Monday, but he left his loss to Marco Cecchinato with a highlight for the ages.

Thiem, 28, managed to pull off an impressive between-the-legs shot to take a 0-15 lead during a game in the second set. After Cecchinato tied the game 15-15, Thiem made it 15-30 with another tweeters.

Thiem was once the No. 3 ranked player in the world and was the 2020 U.S Open champion, but has struggled through knee, wrist, and finger injuries in the last two years. He's currently No. 194 in the ATP rankings and has lost all six of the matches he's played in 2022.

On Monday, Thiem managed to place just 45% of his first serves in the 6-3, 6-4 loss to Cecchinato, the 134th ranked player.

Thiem has said he plans to compete in the 2022 French Open, a tournament where he has twice finished as runner-up.
