The public ballot for tickets to next year's Wimbledon championships is now open - with organisers raising the cost of Centre Court admission. The All England Club went live this week for tennis fans to apply for hundreds of thousands of tickets to be held July 3 - 16, 2023. Tickets for both singles finals on the main 15,000 capacity show court will jump by £15 to £255, whilst entry on the opening two days of the 136th edition of the third Grand Slam of the year will cost £80, a rise of £5. A limited number of cheaper tickets in the back six rows remain at £230 for the finals and £70 for days one and two. Prices have increased by a similar rate on No 1 Court, the second show court with a capacity of about 12,500. Wimbledon bosses have also launched a ticketing review after an abundance of empty seats on Centre Court and No1 Court were spotted by viewers at home during the first week of the 2022 event.
