Wimbledon 2025 is upon us with the WTA draw this year being anyone's to win. Barbora Krejcikova is defending champion and will defend it between Monday 30 June - Sunday 13 July.
As ever Wimbledon especially on the women's side is unpredictability central with Marketa Vondrousova and Krejcikova winning it in the last two years. Iga Swiatek has never fared great on grass since juniors and Aryna Sabalenka has missed it two out of the last three years. So ahead of the Grand Slam, follow it all here.
Led by Aryna Sabalenka as well as Coco Gauff, Jessica Pegula, Mirra Andreeva and also Iga Swiatek. Most of the top names will be involved with very minimal withdrawals.
The last Entries currently are Aoi Ito as the final direct acceptance as well as wildcards for the likes of Petra Kvitova, Heather Watson and Harriet Dart who will all be involved at the All England Lawn & Tennis Club over the next fortnight.

In the UK over the years it has traditionally been shown on BBC and that will continue but like the Olympic Games coverage, it will also be shown this year on Discovery+ and TNT with daily highlights and the live singles finals. This marks a move away from traditional norms. Albeit BBC will show every court in full including on their digital service.
In the US, it will be ESPN and Tennis Channel which will show the tournament in full. In Germany, it will be shown on Prime Video. In Spain, Movistar Plus+ while Australia will showcase the tournament on Nine Network, Australia and Stan Sport.

Samuel Gill, Head Editor for TennisUpToDate.com sees a perhaps outside winner returning to win it once more.
Elena Rybakina for me strangely is my pick. Amid all the issues she has faced all year around her coach Stefano Vukov, she is great on this surface and was compared to Lindsay Davenport by Martina Navratilova.
I see too much fragility in the work of Aryna Sabalenka and Iga Swiatek. While Coco Gauff also lost out to Xinyu Wang in Berlin so perhaps can't be trusted either.
Jessica Pegula is hit and miss as of late so aside from those names, I'd say Mirra Andreeva, Jasmine Paolini and even throwing in Marketa Vondrousova after her Berlin exploits. Basically don't be shocked at another surprise winner.
Favourites:
*** Elena Rybakina
** Mirra Andreeva, Jasmine Paolini
* Aryna Sabalenka, Coco Gauff, Marketa Vondrousova
