The Italian’s superior game when it comes near clicking is still enough for me to back her, but a fourth consecutive loss in 2025 would not be surprising.

Burrage is likely to be the aggressor throughout most of this match. The Briton showed her talent by competing against former US Open champion Coco Gauff at the Australian Open. Bogdan’s defense needs to be impressive to prevail. However, the home favorite usually prefers soaking up pressure instead of being aggressive herself and might be dogged enough to prevail.

Halep’s indifferent level since and injuries make Bronzetti the most likely winner, despite the enthusiastic support Halep will receive in Cluj-Napoca.
