Work at a Pizza Place – Via: Roblox

Long before Roblox became a platform with millions of experiences, games like Work at a Pizza Place, Natural Disaster Survival, and Hide and Seek Extreme helped define what players could do in the sandbox.

Despite more than 15 years of competition from newer experiences, many of these classics continue to attract enough players to remain among Roblox’s most-played games.

Some were created by Roblox staff, while others came from community developers experimenting with the platform’s early tools. Here are some of the oldest Roblox games that are still worth playing today.

Work at a Pizza Place

The name gives away what the game is about. Work at a Pizza Place is one of the earliest Roblox games out there. Players can pick from various jobs, such as Cashier, Delivery Person, Cook, Pizza Boxer, Supplier, and Manager.

Finishing tasks helps players earn coins to upgrade their houses and buy items. You can also visit other players and various islands in the game.

Natural Disaster Survival

Created by Stickmasterluke, this is a round-based survival game. Players will face 13 disasters across 23 maps set in the middle of an endless ocean.

Players must use their tools, the environment, and their wits to survive flash floods, tornadoes, acid rain, and much more. Survivors’ names appear in a list at the end of each round.

Base Wars FPS

Having FPS fun in Roblox is possible with Basewars FPS. It was one of the first shooters in the game, and it was created by the ROBLOX Content Team.

Players must capture all control points and earn as many points as possible to receive rewards. One can also choose from a few character classes, including the Trooper, Assault, Brute, Support, and Sniper.

All classes have their own set of weapons and perks to capitalize on.

A Pirate’s Life

A pirate simulator created by lando64000, A Pirate’s Life is one of the earliest Roblox games in the genre. The game’s main currency is Treasure, and it can be earned by fishing, stealing, selling items, or even eliminating other players.

It can also be earned by simply discovering treasure.

Players can be either a Dock Pirate or a Cave Pirate. The two groups can go to war with one another using weapons like the Flintlock or the Blunderbuss, just to name a few.

Overall, it’s a diverse game with many gameplay approaches.

Armored Patrol

On the other side of A Pirate’s Life is Armored Patrol. This is a military simulation Roblox game created by ArmoredPatrolHero. Using military weapons and vehicles, two teams fight to control flags.

Just like other capture-the-flag games, controlling flags grants points. You can use vehicles like tanks or fight on foot using weapons like the AK-47 rifle.

Hide and Seek Extreme

Thirteen players must hide from one Seeker, who has four minutes to find them all. Created by Tim7775, this Roblox game is inspired by early iterations of Hide and Seek.

The game follows normal Hide and Seek rules, where the Seeker wins if they find everyone within the given time. Undiscovered Hiders also win the game.

However, the Seeker may have abilities such as stunning players, using cameras, or sprinting quickly to catch the Hiders. Abilities are unique to a set of characters.

The Underground War

Also created by Stickmasterluke, this is a classic war experience for Roblox players. It’s yet another capture-the-flag game with an interesting twist.

Players fight in two teams, and the battle takes place underground. Players can dig tunnels to reach one another and take enemies down or capture the opponent’s flag to earn points. Eliminating opponents also earns points. The team with the most points wins.

Apocalypse Rising

Created by Gusmanak, this is a zombie-survival Roblox game. Players must eat to remain healthy and fend off zombies to stay alive.

There’s also a threat of being eliminated by other players in Apocalypse Rising. Players can use weapons such as pistols, rifles, and more to eliminate enemies.

If they get injured, eating food becomes necessary, but it is scattered across the map, which means regaining health will certainly take some time, especially because health is not regained instantly upon consuming food.

Stop It, Slender!

This is a horror-survival game created by Kinnis97. One player is randomly selected as Slender, while the others are citizens. The goal of the citizens is to start all three generators and find eight pages scattered across various locations.

The citizens must also avoid looking at Slender, as doing so causes them to lose health. The person playing Slender must stop the citizens by dealing damage. Slender can grab citizens and deal damage when they look at him.

Lumber Tycoon 2

A tree-cutting simulator, Lumber Tycoon 2 was created by Defaultio. As the genre and name suggest, the main goal is to cut down trees and sell them for money.
