DreadXP presented their annual Indie Horror Showcase yesterday, and a lot happened. DreadXP presented over 60 new trailers of upcoming titles at the event. It’s a lot to list every single one, so I’m going to go over some of the more notable ones, which have captured a lot of attention.

DreadXP’s Most Hyped Upcoming Games

Amanda the Adventurer 3

Amanda the Adventurer became a viral sensation in 2022, with its focus on thought-provoking puzzles, and kids’ TV nostalgia we as adults always look back on with great fondness. A release date for the next installment to the series was announced at the showcase, with a release date of November 6. Yoy can still check out the demo on Steam while you’re waiting for the game to come out in a couple of weeks.

Paranormal Activity

The teaser for the new Paranormal Activity game was also announced during this year’s Indie Horror Showcase. Yes, the found footage film is getting its own game adaptation. A release date for the game has yet to be announced, but horror junkies like me are pumped, given this is coming from DreadXP, the makers who gave us The Mortuary Assistant

Riddlewood Manor

This indie puzzle horror game is already out on Steam with a discount! Riddlewood Manor is a comedy horror game where you must uncover the secrets of the Riddlewood family and escape the terrifying mansion you are trapped in, where every corner has misfortune written all over it. The game’s soundtrack is slated to release next week, on November 4.

Terrifier: The ARTcade Game

Terrifier is the cult classic film starring Art the Clown, the crazy mass murderer who has even crazier kills under his belt. Personally, my new favorite slasher. Now he is getting his own game adaptation! Granted, it’s super cartoonish, as it’s an arcade-style game, so you won’t get those hyper-realistic kill graphics the film is so famous for, but it’s a gory game about the absolute worst killer clown you can unfortunately stumble upon, nonetheless. Terrifier: The ARTcade Game is slated to release on November 21.

Total Chaos

Trigger Happy Interactive is releasing a new psychological horror game with Total Chaos. The official demo trailer was released during the showcase, which features gameplay and showcases giant spider-like monsters stalking your every move. It’s pretty chilling to watch, and it’s on my wishlist once it’s available. Currently, there is no release date for the game, but it is expected to come out later this year.
