Hello, fellow gamers! Last week, we listed the 5 most played or purchased games of the week, and today we will do it again! Whether you’re exploring worlds beyond imagination, vibing with chill games, or ranking matches, there’s always something new and exciting happening in the gaming world. We’ve rounded up the top 5 most played or purchased games of the week, based on current player statistics.

1.  Counter-Strike 2

Price: Free to play

Don’t be surprised if Counter-Strike is still on top, but what do you expect from a free competitive shooter game with tight mechanics, tactical gameplay, and a supporting community? The game continues to dominate servers around the globe. Whether you are clutching a 1v5—good luck with that—or just learning how to aim or throw flashbangs properly, this game has endless replay value. All you need are skills and a hint of patience when your team doesn’t plant the bomb.

2. Dota 2

Dota is still standing strong. This Multiplayer Online Battle Arena video game legend has been around for years, and yet it continues to pull in hundreds and thousands of players on a daily basis. Why? Because there is always something new to learn – whether it’s the latest patch, a game-breaking strat, or just learning how not to feed in lane(Trust me, we’ve all been there) – the thrill of a hard-earned win is worth it.

3. PUBG: Battlegrounds

Another game is not wanting to leave the ranks. Even with so many battle royale games out there, this OG still manages to attract massive crowds, maybe due to fans’ loyalty to the game. The gameplay is solid, the maps are massive, and the thrilling final circuit is monumental. It’s also free now, which makes it even more tempting than ever. Just don’t forget to close the door behind you unless some uninvited guest is invited.

4. ELDEN RING: Nightreign

Let’s talk about some new meat on the block: Elden Ring: Nightreign. This brand new expansion to the Elden Ring franchise has fans absolutely kicking. With new places to explore, new bosses, and new lore, too.

By the way, it isn’t free. I mean, what do you expect from a new release? It is currently breaking into the top 5 with over 300k players peaking today. That’s huge for a paid DLC game. If you are ready to play this new expansion, then get ready to die a lot.

5. Bongo Cat

Last but not least, I was surprised to hear that Bongo Cat made the list, but what can I say? It’s a cute, quirky rhythm game where you control an adorable animated playing instrument. It’s light, fun, and honestly just a great way to unwind after getting 1v5 in Counter-Strike 2 or getting stomped in Elden Ring: Nightreign. People are loving it and it’s free! Great for all ages and perfect music for anyone needing a break from all the hardcore action drama.

Final Thoughts Of Most Played Games

This 5 Most Played or Purchased Games of the Week lineup isn’t actually surprising for me, except for how Bongo Cat managed to make the list, and let’s be real, seeing Bongo Cat in Counter-Strike is the kind of chaos that sometimes makes gaming great. Whether you are in the mood for serious grinding or chill games, there’s something out there for you, and I’m curious if Nightreign can climb the list next week.
