Players are having a blast with this new Battlefield game. The maps are bigger, the combat system is a lot more expansive, you can man vehicles during online matches, and Battlefield 6 introduces more modes and content than ever before. However, recently, players have experienced something called the Global Game Quota Exceeded error, which essentially indicates that the servers on the Portal feature are currently full.

EA’s Portal feature was first introduced in Battlefield 2042, and it hosts community-created experiences in modes of the game like Conquest and Escalation. However, the servers are quite limited, likely due to EA anticipating that fewer players want to play these modes. This error proves that players actually do want to play these modes, and the demand is significantly larger than EA had previously thought. Because of this, the servers cannot handle the amount of interest EA’s Portal feature had garnered, which is the cause of this particular error. But can it be fixed?

The short answer, no. There is no quick fix for the error, and unfortunately, there isn’t anything we can do about it. With all the players receiving this error, EA will most likely update the server capacity of Portal at some point; however, they’ve yet to comment on the issue, but expect more updates in the near future.
