Borderlands 4 Promises New Patch of Loot is Incoming

Additionally, they noted how cool it has been to see millions of players already diving into the world of Kairos and bonding with the new crew of Vault Hunters.

They also make clear that they’re reading every single piece of feedback that’s being shared. More than that, they’ve already taken action to solve BL4‘s performance issues and regain fans’ favor. In response to recent backlash, Gearbox straight-up said that improving stability and performance on PC is now their absolute top priority. The studio acknowledges the players who have been running into bugs that kill the vibe and crashes that murder your momentum.

To that end, updates have already been rolled out over the weekend to tackle these issues. Furthermore, Gearbox promised another significant update, which is scheduled to arrive this Thursday. Alongside these updates, what additional help do they have planned to fix BL4, and when will they be released? Borderlands 4‘s Launch Blues to Legendary Fixes

Although PC gamers expressed the most frustration with BL4‘s glitchy performance, console players have been loudly, and rightly, asking for a Field of View slider. Apparently, sliding that FOV all the way out to see more of the beautiful chaos is a pretty common desire. According to Gearbox, these players will get their wish as an FOV slider option was confirmed to be in testing right now. Very soon, more information should be gathered to explain this new feature more in-depth. For anyone who prefers their lootin’ and shootin’, this addition should be a huge relief as it offers a wider view of the mayhem.

Some console players have also reported having performance issues when playing BL4. However, it remains unclear whether the team looking into these problems has anything to do with the potential memory leak issue. Following initial complaints, Gearbox boss Randy Pitchford famously advised players to just quit the game and restart as a temporary workaround.
