What do a stage actor, a pair of miners, and the memory of an ancient criminal have in common? They all look to overwhelm you. Trobbio fills yoru screen with props and fireworks, the Forebrothers summon adds that throw things at you, and the First Sinner is just relentlessly aggressive. Interestingly enough, the best response to all of them is to answer in kind.
This boss is completely optional. As such, if you have any form of light sensitivity or are easily overwhelmed, I would suggest you skip him because there is A LOT going on during this fight.
That said, ironically, aggression is your friend against Trobbio. Because of all the stuff he does and throws out, trying to keep your distance will more than likely end with your getting backed into a wall. The easy way to handle this is just to keep up with him and beat him down as fast as possible.
He has some pretty decent windows for extending damage, such as after he jump throws his fireworks, after a tornado spin (if you jump up and float right above him as he finishes the spin, you’ll avoid the cast-offs), or when he transitions into Phase 2.
I would suggest either Wanderer or Beast for this fight. Reaper is too slow, Trobbio is too jumpy for Witch, and while Cogflies are great, quite a few of the best tools don’t work against him, so there’s no need for Architect.

The first boss you have to deal with is Signis. Once you get him to half health, Gron shows up. Now, while it might be tempting to try and AoE them both down, DON’T. When Gron arrives, he will have about 160 more health than Signis (Signis has 720, so half is 360). So, if you do damage to both of them perfectly equally, Gron will have 160 health when Signis dies. And therein lies the problem.
When one of the brothers dies, if the other one is below 350 health, they will heal for 200, making all the work you just did to damage them pretty much meaningless. As such, the best course of action is to focus completely on Signis. Base him down as fast as possible. Obviously, splash damage is unavoidable, but try to keep it to a minimum.
After Signis is down, Gron is pretty easy to take care of. Actually, the lavafall in the center of the arena is more dangerous than him. All Gron does is jump around and either throw his spear or try to pile drive you, both of which are easily dodged. All you have to do is chase after him.
At the time of writing, this boss has given me more trouble than any other boss in the game, bar none. And the sad part is, I was constantly getting her to phase 2. The issue was, I was getting her there with only 1 Mask left, so I’d end up dying to a charge or a rune or by accidentally running into her when she teleported in front of me. Finally got her down though, so that’s something.
My best advice is to remember that the Clawline exists. Your windows are small for dealing damage, and if you are just running after her, you’ll miss most of them. Using Clawline to keep up means you’ll be able to hit her more often and even do some marginal damage with the ability occasionally, which will add up in the end. It’s also better than Silkspeed Anklets because Clawline will stop at the boss, while the speed boost for the Anklets might send you flying into her, causing you to take damage.
Like with the Widow, run towards Sinner to dodge the aerial claw lunge and jump over her to avoid the ground charge. If you are good with timings, Cross Stitch can help you avoid a few of the more pesky abilities. Also, while I don’t recommend it, you can dodge the horizontal Needle attacks by dashing (your hit box lowers enough to avoid the bottom Needle). Your timing does have to be on point, though.
Beast and Wanderer are your best bets for this fight. Sinner is too mobile for Witch, and since you respawn outside of her arena, you don’t get to refresh your tools, so after a few attempts, Architect becomes pointless. You could use Reaper to get extra Silk, which would help mitigate the Clawline cost, but that does require you to be very skilled at dodge to maintain the Bind effect for any length of time.
