The final boss in the Desert Perpetual raid in Destiny 2 is a gigantic Harpy. You can only fight against this boss after completing the previous encounters in whichever order you choose. The encounter takes place in the same arena where you choose which boss to fight. We recommend that you pay close attention to the entrance of the boss, which is one that you should not miss.
Destiny 2 Desert Perpetual – Koregos the Worldine Encounter
For this encounter in Desert Perpetual, the three Temporality debuffs return.
- Constant
- Cyclical
- Absolute
You can choose which players get each debuff based on which platform they stand on. It also means you can assign the number of players to each role.
- Left – Constant
- Middle – Absolute
- Right – Cyclical
Each role will have an assigned job during the encounter. We recommend adding more players to Constant and Cyclical than Absolute, due to the requirements of each role. When grabbing debuffs together and during the encounter in general, be careful of the boss’s attacks. There is a Digitization timer that counts down, which, if it hits zero, will cause a wipe.
- The players with the Constant debuff must shoot the boss’s crit spots, which are glowing white.
-
Doing so spawns three Temportal Occulus rifts.
- Standing in them consumes the debuff and gives you a twenty-second timer.
- You can have all players stand in one rift to only consume one.
-
For the Cyclical and Constant debuff players, these underwater-looking bombs are flying throughout the area.
- Constant players will see them as colors (red, white, or blue).
- Cyclical players will see them as lit up or not.
- At the same time, the Absolute players will see a portal in the middle with one of the three colors.
-
The Absolute player must call out the color of the portal.
- Constant players will look for bombs matching that color and call them out.
- Cyclical players will tell them if they are real (lit up) or fake (not lit up)
- Absolute players must now shoot the correct bombs.
-
Cyclical players pick up the Chronons dropped and run through the portal to fill the Hourglass and extend their Temporality debuff.
- Constant players extend their debuff by shooting the boss’s crit spots.
- Absolute players extend by shooting the bombs.
-
Once the Hourglass is filled, a diamond cube spawns underneath.
- Destroy it to progress towards damage.
- The boss will now create platforms and place himself in a weird position.
- Ascend the platforms.
- Players will notice Vex objects on the final platform.
- One player with each debuff will need to do the mechanic.
-
Next to the Vex objects are Vex modules
- The Constant and Cyclical players will see two of three Vex modules.
- The Absolute player sees all there.
-
The Constant and Cyclical player must stand where the Vex module is missing for them.
- It allows the Absolute player to know which one they must activate.
- Repeat multiple times until all modules are activated
- Boss damage will now start.
-
The mechanics are not finished yet.
- Chronons will spawn on the plate to allow you to extend the damage phase.
-
A portal spawns with one of the colors.
- Players must look out for the Chronons matching the portal.
- The portal spawns three times during the damage phase.
- Every time you successfully jump through, you will extend the damage phase.
- During damage, the boss will fire lasers, so be on the lookout for those.
- Repeat until you reach the final stand.
-
In the final stand, you must do enough damage before the boss wipes you.
- He will start moving erratically and fire more lasers.
-
If you manage to kill the boss, jump off the platforms and move away from the boss.
- If you do not, you will still wipe.
- If you survive, you have completed the Desert Perpetual raid in Destiny 2.
