The economy in Destiny 2 is seeing significant shifts in the Edge of Fate. The core game activities will be the primary source of resources moving forward, streamlining the process for players. The changes range from armor masterworking to removing vendor-specific engrams. Overall, players should feel more comfortable with what they need to spend on various items in Destiny 2.

The way you masterwork armor is changing in the Edge of Fate. All armor will drop with maximum energy. Instead, masterworking will increase the stats of your armor as noted in the recent Destiny 2 livestream. Enhancement prisms will be more readily available to help with the increased use of the resource.
