Destiny 2: Graviton Spike Intrinsics and Catalysts

The Kepler destination has plenty of secrets for Destiny 2 players to solve. Some of those involve the Graviton Spike Hand Cannon. Players will need to use the Exotic in their quest to unlock the Intrinsics and Catalysts for the weapon. The Intrinsics are available on any World Tier. For the Catalysts, you must be on the Fabled and Mythic World Tier to acquire them.

The order in which you get the Intrinsics does not matter. Ensure you have the Exotic Hand Cannon. You may have noticed immune flowers throughout Kepler; if not, that is okay. The process you need for the flower is as follows. Shoot the flower with Arc Mode to open up the flower, then swap to Stasis Mode to break the Crystal.

Graviton Spike Temporal Manipulation II

The first Intrinsic is in the Caldera region. Underneath the Aionian base, there are tunnels you can follow. One will take you to the first flower and a fan. Use the flower process, and the fan will stop. Enter the room to pick up your first Intrinsic.

Graviton Spike Temporal Manipulation III

From the Caldera, walk on foot to the Curtilage Divide. Continue through until you reach a large area with multiple levels. In here you will find the flower. Before shooting the flower, find Mattermorph. Open up the path with Mattermorph and do the flower process to stop the fan. Go inside to grab your intrinsic.

Graviton Spike Temporal Manipulation IV

The final Intrinsic is in the Stellar Sink. Head to the Calculus mission flag and enter the train near it. Take the main path until you reach a large room. At the far end on the right side, you will find a small door. Enter it and jump up to the right. Here you will see the flower. Follow the same process and enter the area with Matterspark to get your last intrinsic.

The same flowers appear for the Catalysts. Each Trait requires three parts to complete. As with the Intrinsics, the order does not matter.

Graviton Spike Rapid Hit Refit

You must be on the Fabled World Tier to access these. The first is in the Stacks area.

  1. Transmat to the Stacks.
  2. Head straight as you would have in the opening campaign mission.
  3. Turn left into the first building until you reach an outside area with a cliff.
  4. Near the cliff are two generators that you must destroy first.
  5. Once done, hug the left side until you find the flower. Use the same process as before to get part one.

The second is in Auger’s Bethel.

  1. Transmat to the Exile’s Accord.
  2. Continue straight until you reach a divide in paths.
  3. Turn left on this path.
  4. Hug the right side of the path until you reach a tunnel.
  5. Inside, you continue forward until you see the flower.
  6. On the right of the flower, fans stop moving, and you can shoot fuses inside.
  7. Behind you is a Relocator; pick it up and head back while ascending.
  8. You should see relays that you can shoot with the Relocator. If successful, you will have part two.

For the final part, follow the path of the final campaign mission. We recommend staying in this area for the Subsistence Catalyst.

  1. Complete the puzzle as you did during the campaign, starting with Matterspark, into Relocator, and Mattermorph.
  2. Clear the enemies to make your life easier.
  3. Shoot the flower to freeze the fan.
  4. Head through to get the last part of Rapid Hit.

Graviton Spike Subsistence Refit

You must be on the Fabled World Tier to access these.

  1. If you stayed by the last Rapid Hit part, continue to the boss Minatour’s room.
  2. Head to the back left side of the room
  3. Do some parkour until you reach the flower and successfully acquire the first part.

For part two, transmat to the Exile’s Accord.

  1. Take two teleport tunnels and a train to reach the area.
  2. Turn left and travel across the bridge until you see a Brig.
  3. Past the flower, you will find a Relocator on a pedestal on the left side of the edge.
  4. Shoot the flower as before, use the Relocator, and teleport inside.

Part three is in the outer wastes. You want to reach the final Coolant area from the Criticality mission.

  1. Align the relay opposite the flower to aim downwards.
  2. Use Mattermorph to move the platforms and fire the Relocator.
  3. Inside, you must charge the Vex Pylon.
  4. Now you can shoot the flower to stop the fan and get your Subsistence Refit.

Graviton Spike Transcendent Zen Refit

You must be on the Mythic World Tier to access these. Part one is in the Caldera.

  1. After heading down the stairs, turn to your left until you find the flower and fan.
  2. Use the flower process and go inside.
  3. Matterspark through until you reach a room with Aionians and your first part.

Part two is in the Aionian Campus.

  1. Trasmat to the area
  2. Head to the far right side and take the teleporter
  3. Ascend the stairs and go into a cave on your right.
  4. Inside the cave is the first flower, which allows you to get Mattermorph
  5. Pick up the buff and go outside to find the next flower
  6. Shoot it and Mattermorph the objects behind the fan to get your second part

The final part is in the Singularity. Ensure you have enough power level for this.

  1. Once you reach the first group of enemies, turn to your left.
  2. Lower the platforms with Mattermorph and go through the tunnel with Matterspark.
  3. Hug the right side and pop into a tunnel
  4. Shoot the flower and drop down
  5. A boss enemy that you must kill before getting the part that spawns.
  6. If you die, he will despawn, and you need to reload at Caldera.

Graviton Spike Temporal Alignment Refit

You must be on the Mythic World Tier to access these. Part one is in the Singularity, since we were there for the last part of Transcendent Zen

  1. Instead of taking the tunnel to the previous part, follow the path.
  2. Stand still for a bit to create a save point in case you die.
  3. Climb up until you reach a barrier on the right side.
  4. Jump above where you would go in the final campaign mission.
  5. Drop down at the far end
  6. Jump across platforms to activate a panel
  7. Head back to the entrance of the area.
  8. On the top left, you will find the flower and the fan area to get the first part.

The second part is the Caldrea area.

  1. Transmat to the location
  2. There are two methods for this:
    1. Either follow the same path as Transcendent Refit, or you can skip those steps.
    2. Under where you dropped down from Transcendent Refit part one, you can climb back up to reach inside through the gate as Matterspark.

The last part is in the Gorge.

  1. Travel from the Caldera.
  2. The area you want to be in is past a Matterspark tunnel where you can not exit the Matterspark form.
  3. You should see the flower.
  4. There is a platform with a Relocator.
  5. Shoot the flower
  6. Relocate inside and get the last part of the Refit.
