Destiny 2 Livestream Brings Excitement to a Hesitant Community

The Ash and Iron update launches today in Destiny 2. Before the release of the Major Update, Bungie held a livestream to showcase the update and a further look into the Rengades expansion, which launches on December 2nd. The Star Wars-themed expansion brings a Venn diagram connection between Destiny 2 and Star Wars. Bungie is also bringing much-needed quality of life updates for Destiny 2.

Destiny 2 Renegades Brings the Balance

The Destiny 2 developer livestream displayed a ViDoc that gave more details on the Renegades expansion. The ViDoc emphasized the need for an expansion that meshes Destiny 2 with Star Wars. They want an authentic Destiny 2 experience that ties in with Star Wars.

We are following Drifter on his theory that the Nine is involved in a new Cabal faction. We need to build from the bottom up, working with syndicates. We will increase our power with new Renegade abilities, completing activities, and taking down the new Cabal force. Players will get access to an Exotic Lightsaber, Star Wars-themed blasters, and Cabal Walkers. All the destination activities take place on Destiny planets, with a Star Wars feel.
