The embargo for those who played Destiny 2’s Edge of Fate early has been lifted. We have plenty of content to cover in the coming days. The first is the Exotic Armor and Weapons, which the creators were allowed to test during their time at Bungie HQ. It is unclear whether these are the only exotics that we are getting or if there is more to be revealed in the future.
With the release of Edge of Fate, we are getting three Exotic Armor pieces and two Exotic Weapons, with one already obtainable Exotic Weapon getting its Catalyst. The Exotics are:
Euonia
Consul’s Pitch Exotic Perk: Hellion projectiles deal increased damage the further they travel, eventually fracturing into scorching shrapnel.
Melas Panoplia
Forge Master Exotic Perk: Collecting a Firesprite or rapid Solar final blows makes you a Forge Master, allowing you to recall your Throwing Hammer. After impacting a target, recall your hammer at full intensity to perform a Perfect Recall, causing an explosion of forge slag. Perfect Recalls and collecting Firesprites extend your time as a Forge Master.
Webcatcher Exotic Perk: Threaded Spike can bounce to Tangles, detonating them and returning immediately. Tangles detonated by Threaded Spike are rewoven and retrieved by it. Catches without a Tangle refund extra melee energy.
Graviton Spike
Third Iteration
No Land Beyond Catalyst
Exotic Catalyst: While this weapon is at high stacks of Master, new rounds are continually loaded into the magazine, and the benefits from Bullseye Bolser last longer.
