The perk refresh for No Survivors has helped it become more relevant among Submachine Guns in Destiny 2. The Submachine gun drops from the Ghosts of the Deep Dungeon during the Rite of the Nine Event. Unlike most weapons from the dungeon, it is potent in PvE and PvP activities. Its biggest drawback is the competition it has to contend with as a Solar Submachine gun.
No Survivors is a Solar Aggressive Frame Submachine Gun. Solar Submachine Guns have run rampant in the Destiny 2 sandbox since Calus Mini-Tool’s introduction during the Season of the Haunted. The Ghosts of the Deep Submachine gun has always struggled to compete with Calus Mini-Tool, but the perk refresh has allowed it to take its throne. The addition of Heal Clip gives it something that Calus Mini-Tool does not.
The unique submachine gun has twelve perks for players to choose from. The left column has Attrition Orbs, Demolitionist, Heal Clip, Rangefinder, Rewind Rounds, and Surplus. The right column’s perks are Adrenaline Junkie, Incandescent, Master of Arms, Sword Logic, Target Lock, and Zen Moment.
Survival with the No Survivors Submachine Gun will be easy for players with the Heal Clip perk in the left column. The cure from each reload will ensure that you always have a source of healing as long as you get a kill with it. If you do not need to prioritize healing as much, then Attrition Orbs will be the go-to, as the gun provides a consistent option to generate orbs of power for whatever a player needs.
The right column has a clear favorite in the form of Incandescent. The AoE explosions and scorch allow players to clear large quantities of enemies. It is rare to have an ad-clear focused weapon without AoE damage. AoE-focused perks are more important than something that would increase the damage output, like Master of Arms or Adrenaline Junkie.
No Survivors has several options for players to consider when taking it into the Crucible. It is also a perfect frame for Submachine Guns for PvP activities. Players can choose between Heal Clip and Rangefinder in the left column. Heal Clip gives you some sustain to keep going in gunfights. Rangefinder is better in neutral, allowing players to play from a safer distance when trying to secure eliminations. Find what suits your playstyle the best, and go for that.
The right column also has two choices for players. Target Lock is the better option, giving players a quicker time to kill in their engagements. Master of Arms allows players to chain kills with the increased damage, decreasing their time to kill in fights with multiple guardians.
The Solar Submachine Gun will drop for players from any encounters in the Rite of the Nine Variation of Ghosts of the Deep. Players can attune No Survivors to have a higher chance of getting the weapon. The Eternity Chest, secret chests, and Boss Hunter Hive Guardian chest will drop No Survivors. If players want the Adept version of No Survivors, they must enter the dungeon in Ultimatum mode. Four types of the Submachine Gun exist in Ghost of the Deep: Base, Base Holofoil, Adept, and Adept Holofoil.
