In the recent This Week in Destiny post, Bungie announced ability changes targeted for October 7th for Destiny 2. The patch aims to buff less-used abilities while also building further into each class’s identity. However, players quickly noticed that Warlocks and Hunters are getting new passives, while Titans are left in the lurch. While Titans have dominated the Destiny 2 meta in the past months, it is strange to see them not get a passive while the other two classes do.
Some of the changes players have seen before, but others are new. Each Destiny 2 class is receiving updates to abilities that have fallen by the wayside. Bungie wants to give players more options in buildcrafting, outside of playing Prismatic. Notably, Warlocks and Hunters are getting new passives that add to their class identity, while the Titan passive is nonexistent. Hopefully, Bungie adds a Titan passive in the future. Even if they have dominated the meta, it is not fair for other classes to get a passive while Titans are left wanting.
