The roadmap for Destiny 2 was promised earlier in September. Bungie released a short-term roadmap yesterday to give players an idea of what to expect in Renegades. After the Vanguard Alerts, players’ expectations were building for the expansion. Now, with the roadmap, there are additional announcements that are welcomed by the community. We are getting additional Vault Space and universal Exotic Ornaments in Renegades.

Destiny 2 Devs Admit Mistakes

The developers admitted that some of the decisions made in Edge of Fate were mistakes. They took Destiny 2 in the incorrect direction and acknowledged that a perfect execution would not have saved the decision-making. They are learning from the lessons of Edge of Fate and looking to improve in the future.

Vault Space and Search Function

Edge of Fate has taxed players’ Vaults. All the new armor has clogged up the Vaults. In Renegades, we are getting a reprieve with an additional 300 spaces in the Vault. The hoarders who want every piece in every type can rejoice. We are acquiring more armor sets in Renegades, which may allow us to reach the cap again.

One of the problems with the Vaults is finding specific items that you are looking for. It has required a third-party app in DIM. In Renegades, we are getting a filter function. You can sort by tiers, slots, and power.

Universal Exotic Ornaments

In Renegades, Bungie is adding the ability for players to use ornaments on other Exotics. If you own the ornament and it is in the same slot, you can use it. The example they use in the article is using a Renewal Graps Ornament on Aeon Soul. Fashion is the ultimate late game of Destiny 2. Having more options for players to use is a big deal.
